Mosab Hassan Yousef, Son of Hamas Receives A Subpoena

Twice in the past two years, Mosab Hassan Yousef (aka “The Green Prince” named after the color of the Islamic flag and “prince” because of his relationship to the Hamas leader) has been a guest speaker at my church and has been telling his compelling story throughout the United States. Mosab shares about growing up with his father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a Hamas founder and one of its leaders in the West Bank.

Mosab Hassan Yousef converted to Christianity years ago and was ostracized from his family. He served for over a decade as the Shin Bet security service’s most valuable source in the militant organization’s leadership. The intelligence he supplied Israel led to the exposure of numerous terrorist cells. In addition, his findings prevented dozens of suicide bombings and assassination attempts on Israeli figures.

Mosab Yousef has authored an autobiography called “Son of Hamas”—if you have not read it yet, it is a must read! You won’t want to put it down!

According to Haaretz Newspaper, Israel, The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) served Mosab Yousef with a subpoena last month while he was teaching in a church in Pennsylvania. The PLO wants all of his notes and the details of his Israeli spy work.

Please pray for Mosab. He has been living in the United States, away from his family, whom he still loves. Pray for God’s protection of his very life and for wisdom as he takes his next steps in response to this subpoena.
